The run of 22 18-20 month old Burenda Angus bulls presented buyer opportunities to take home bulls suitable for use over heifers or cows with some outstanding EBV traits for Fertilty, Heavy Grass and Heavy Grain market suitability.  The bulls sold to both repeat and new buyers with a spread over the Alpha, Jericho, Blackall, Roma, Pittsworth, Aramac and Springsure areas.  The 22 lots averaged $5386 with 100% clearance.  

The top priced bull purchased by DE & JS Harland Roma was Lot 17 Burenda Lethal a son of Burenda Geiger Counter G49 at $11000.  The 19 month old sire weighed 628kg with a impressive 1.36kg daily weight gain and P8 Fat 9mm, Rib Fat 6mm, EMA 98cm, IMF 5.8%, Scrotal 40cm and Semen 90%.  

Burenda Licence sold to $8500 at 18 months of age with a outstanding daily weight gain of 1.65kg/day.  At 704kg, P8 Fat 12mm, Rib Fat 7mm, EMA 100cm, IMF 5.8%, Scrotal 42cm and Semen 80% he was sort after.  His sire Burenda Jinja sold at one of our Roma sales for $12000.  Licence stayed local with Bailey Properties at Paradise Downs Blackall along with two others they purchased.
